Wang was born in Yi，Jingdezhen，Anhui province on December，1943. Wang is a master of Chinese craft art，member of the Jiangxi branch of Chinese Artists Association，member of the Chinese Artists Association and president of the Eastern Academy of Ceramic Arts. Under the influence of his grandfather Dafan Wang，a reputed ceramic artist in Jingdezhen and one of the “Eight gentlemen of Zhushan”，Wang combines traditional and western painting styles and is especially good at porcelain paintings of portraits as well as landscape and flowers and birds. His paintings are delicate and of style，the use of lines and patterns creates an innovative way of composition and a harmonious way of presenting colors. His art making includes the spirit of poetry and suits both popular and refined tastes.
